Darren Till blasts 'utter moron' Marvin Vettori for questioning UFC on ABC 2 withdrawal
Darren Till is not happy with Marvin Vettori questioning the legitimacy of his UFC on ABC 2 main event withdrawal.
Last week, Till (18-3-1 MMA, 6-3-1 UFC) was forced to pull out of Saturday’s fight with Vettori (16-4-1 MMA, 6-2-1 UFC) at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on less than two weeks’ notice after he suffered a broken collarbone in training. He was “f*cking destroyed” by the situation, but Vettori showed him no compassion.
During Wednesday’s UFC on ABC 2 media day, Vettori questioned Till’s injury and called it “suspicious.” He admitted he was merely speculating but did not paint Till in a good light (via Twitter):

Till was not pleased when Vettori’s words reached his radar. He issued a lengthy and emotional response on social media, calling Vettori an “utter moron” about his comments and taking multiple digs at his fellow 185-pound contender (via Instagram):

Let’s have it right mate you were going to be my easiest fight,
You are a walking punch bag who’s tough.
Nothing more & nothing less.
So keep ur bitter mouth shut.
For you or anyone to even think for one minute I’d pull out of a fight with some bullshit excuse makes me howl.
Every fight camp I guarantee I train through way harsher injuries than you and 90% of the roster.

With Till unable to compete at UFC on ABC 2, Vettori is now scheduled to fight Kevin Holland in the main event. The main card airs on ABC following prelims on ESPN.
