Brian Ortega fights Chan Sung Jung tonight in the main event of UFC Fight Island 6, which takes place on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Ortega comes into the fight with a fresh look, hoping to rebound from the only loss of his professional career.

Last time out T-City unsuccessfully competed for the UFC featherweight crown, which was being worn by Max Holloway at the time. Versus the Hawaiian, at UFC 231 in December 2018, Ortega was a shadow of himself, taking a long beating before a merciful doctor stoppage between the championship rounds.

Ortega earned his opportunity against Blessed with a six fight win streak in the Octagon. During that purple patch Ortega knocked out Frankie Edgar and choked out Renato Moicano. Also on that run, Ortega faced WEC old guard, and fight night bonus hunter, Cub Swanson.

You can watch Ortega vs. Swanson in the video above (via UFC/YouTube). The bout took place in the main event of UFC Fresno in December 2017. The contest earned Fight of the Night honors and a Performance of the Night bonus for Ortega.

The first round saw Swanson piece Ortega up on the feet before almost being finished with a standing guillotine. In the second Ortega came back with another guillotine, one which would get the finish against the always tough Swanson.
