“Chillin’ and Netflix” is not on Dana White’s agenda.

While the rest of the world is stuck at home watching Netflix and eating junk food, Dana White is moving full steam ahead with the UFC.

White has secured a secret venue for UFC 249 and will be hosting some events on a private island, so there’s not really much time for ‘Netflix and chill’ at the UFC headquarters — or “chillin’ and Netflix”, as White calls it.

“I’m proud of my crew and how hard everyone’s worked on this,” White told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto in a recent interview. “We could all be sitting at home and relaxin’ and Netflix or however that thing goes; chillin’ and Netflix or whatever it is. I don’t do that sh-t, so I don’t know what the term is but we’ve been working hard and I’m proud of my crew. We’ve pulled this thing off and, as usual, I really don’t care what anyone thinks.”

Despite mounting criticism from the media about hosting a sporting event in the midst of a global pandemic, UFC 249 will go ahead as planned on April 18. The highly anticipated pay-per-view will feature a headlining interim lightweight title bout between Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje and is reported to take place at the Tachi Palace Casino in Lemoore, California.
