Fury in line to face drugs cheat Miller on October 5 in preparation for Wilder rematch… leaving Joshua out in cold
TYSON FURY rocked Vegas to leave Frank Warren claiming: Nobody can handle him.
The Gypsy King battered Tom Schwarz in two rounds and promoter Warren declared: “I don’t think there’s anybody out there who can cope with what Tyson’s got.”
“He had fast hands, great footwork, a great boxing brain and he’s very evasive.”
Fury is hunting WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder but drugs cheat Jarrell Miller has emerged as a shock contender to be Fury’s next opponent on October 5.
And with the Mancunian set for TWO fights against Wilder next year, that would leave deposed champ Anthony Joshua out in the cold.
Fury sparkled on his Vegas debut against German plodder Schwarz.
Warren added: “This time he was training for a fight rather than training to lose weight — and you could see that.
“One hundred per cent the Wilder rematch will happen. It’s highly probable that fight will happen early next year. The money isn’t a problem and all parties want it.”
Miller was supposed to fight former heavyweight champ AJ on June 1 until he was banned for doping.
But ‘Big Baby’ Miller’s six-month suspension is up in September.
Fury is expected to box on the east coast in four months’ time, with Madison Square Garden the most likely venue.
Warren added: “Miller’s position is something we will look at. It will be someone out of the top five next.
“I’m sure an American opponent would be the best option. We will look at the rankings and it’s something we’ll work out this week.
“I think we will have something in place within the next 14 days.”
New Yorker Miller was ringside on Saturday and says talks have already taken place with Fury’s Stateside promoter Bob Arum.
Miller said: “My suspension is up in September and I think October would be a great date.
“If I got the shout, I’d take it straight away. I’ve had conversations with Bob Arum already.”
Wilder, who fought an epic draw with Fury last December, faces Cuba’s Luis Ortiz in September.
And Warren claims a rematch between the ‘Bronze Bomber’ and Fury is a dead cert — if they both win their next fights.
SunSport understands the deal for a Fury-Wilder rematch also contains the terms for a trilogy fight. That means Joshua may not get a shot at either of them until 2021.
AJ must first get back his WBA, IBF and WBO belts from American roly poly Andy Ruiz Jr, who beat him a fortnight ago.
Warren, speaking to Radio 5’s Sportsweek, added: “Wilder struggled with Ortiz last time but I think he’ll knock him out again.
“If he does, then it will set up the big one with him and Tyson. Then hopefully Joshua would step up to the plate.

“But I don’t know whether Joshua should take the rematch with Ruiz. I believe he has Joshua’s number.”
Fury’s heavyweight rival Dillian Whyte was not impressed with the Gypsy King’s efforts, though.
He tweeted: “Can’t believe I stayed up to watch that joke of a fight. @Tyson_Fury should be ashamed running away from me and fighting these chumps. My mother would have knocked out Tom the bum in a round #GYPSYBUM.”
