Report: Elizeu Zaleski takes on Li Jingliang at UFC Beijing

Welterweights Elizeu Zaleski and Li Jingliang will square off on November 24.

A pair of hard-hitting welterweights is headed to China in November.

Per Combate’s report, Elizeu Zaleski is now scheduled to take on Li Jingliang at UFC Fight Night 141, in the country’s capital, Beijing.

A rising contender in the UFC’s welterweight division with 14 KO wins under his belt, Elizeu Zaleski (20-5) will look for his seventh straight win. During the 31-year-old’s run, he has already defeated the likes of Omari Akhmedov, Keita Nakamura, Lyman Good, Max Griffin, Sean Strickland and, most recently Luigi Vendramini in September. Elizeu’s sole UFC loss came in his debut against Nicolas Dalby in May 2015.

Also known for his knockout power, Li Jingliang (15-5) defeated Daichi Abe via unanimous decision back in June. The win put the 30-year-old back on crack after a unanimous decision loss to Jake Matthews back in February. Before the defeat, Jingliang was on a four-fight winning streak, with wins over Anton Zafir, Bobby Nash, Frank Camacho and Zak Ottow.

UFC Fight Night 141 is set for Saturday, November 24th. The card will be headlined by a rematch between heavyweight contenders Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou.
