Wilder: Hearn and Joshua fearful of facing me!

0

Deontay Wilder gives his thoughts on what’s stalling a showdown between Anthony Joshua and himself.

In this interview with FightHype, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder talks about why he thinks promoter Eddie Hearn is scared of putting Anthony Joshua in with him too soon...

“I think Eddie is scared of that fight. I think he’s scared of that fight because he know — and we gotta keep in mind that Eddie is all about money. He grew up in a family of money so his mindset is gonna be about money at the end of the day. Point, blank, period.

“So if you do have a dangerous guy that can interrupt your money flow, why not stall it? Let us get as many fights as we can and build. We’ve got a great thing going on...and we know we got this American that can come interfere and interrupt that shit. Why? Why fight him immediately?

“And the thing about it, what’s so crazy and confusing, is that Eddie’s saying one thing but Joshua says another. Eddie says he’ll knock me out in three, he’s ready...but Joshua said that he’s not ready. In fact, he needs more time to prepare for me to put himself in a better position, and to beating me.

“...you’ve already fought a guy that has more experience than both of us combined together...so why [not] me? Because I am the one that can end this shit. That’s why. So, yeah, he is fearful. I think both of ‘em fearful.”
