Russian biathlon coach fired over sexual misconduct claim
MOSCOW — A Russian biathlon coach has been suspended after being accused of offering a 17-year-old female athlete a place in the national team in return for sexual favors. Moscow region sports minister Roman Teryushkov says coach Sergei Tutmin offered the athlete “patronage and prospects with the national team” if she complied with his demands.
