Sergio Garcia returns from his Masters win with an ace on the 17th at The Players
The newly minted Masters champ didn't get off to a hot start in his return to golf. This helps!
Sergio Garcia’s life has been pretty good since shedding his major championship struggle with his win at The Masters in April. He spent most of the following weeks “doing nothing” at his home in Switzerland with wife-to-be Angela Akins, enjoying the championship glow. I mean, hey, can you blame him?
His return to golf at The Players on Thursday didn't start so hot. A 4-over-par stretch through his opening six holes had him a few spots out of dead last earlier this afternoon. One way to fix that quickly? An ace on the classic island green 17th hole at Sawgrass late in the afternoon.

A birdie just before that helped Sergio finish with a 3-under in his final three holes stretch. He’ll start Friday six shots behind the leaders at 1-over-par, far from out of it. Where he goes from here will be one of the stories of the weekend.
