Warriors vs. Jazz live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch 2017 NBA playoffs online
Will Golden State complete their second straight sweep or can Utah save one game?
The Warriors can send the Jazz quietly into the summer with a win on Monday. Sweeping Utah would give Golden State at least a week of rest while they wait on their Western Conference Finals opponent, either the Spurs or the Rockets.
For Utah, they’re only here to save face and delay what seems like an inevitable vacation. None of the first three games have been blowouts — the margin of victory has been 12 points, 11, and 11 — but none of them really seemed like the Warriors were in danger. After all, they won 67 games this regular season and have a healthy Kevin Durant once again.
One player who hasn’t really gotten going for Golden State, though, is Klay Thompson. The third scoring option is coming off a six-point playoff performance, shooting just 1-of-9 from the field in Game 3. Zaza Pachulia outscored him with seven points and loudly crowed about it on Instagram.
In these playoffs, Thompson is only shooting 38 percent from the field (36 percent on threes). What’s funny is Golden State doesn’t need him to light up every night, and anyway Thompson is still averaging 15 points per game in the postseason. But Warriors fans and Thompson himself wouldn’t mind seeing the ball go through the basket a few more times.
And hey, if it doesn’t for him, there’s still Steph and KD and Draymond to take care of business. We’ll see if Utah can pull out a win anyway, but they’re certainly not favorites.
