It would take a lot for people to buy $200 Lonzo Ball sneakers

0

I asked you what the sneakers would need to come with. Your answers are comedy.

LaVar Ball is reportedly targeting a $200 price tag for his son, Lonzo Ball’s debut basketball sneaker. That number would put the UCLA standout’s first signature shoe ahead of the current sneaker prices for guys like James Harden, LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

For starters, most of you wouldn’t pay anywhere near $200 for Ball’s kicks.

Knowing that, I tweeted this:

Lonzo Ball is projected as the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, but that sneaker price, regardless of how good he will be in the future, is absurd for a rookie. Especially if it’s under his father’s Big Baller Brand and not a major sneaker company like Nike, adidas or Under Armour.

Here were some of the best responses to my question:

Some of you just want LaVar Ball to shut the hell up

Most of you just want your money back

Some of you are trying to come up (and I don’t blame you)

A lot of you need an additional pair of sneakers

This guy might be onto something

This guy needs to swing me half

Some of you have some... very specific needs

Two of you need to pay your Internet bill

This guy should run for president

Not sure which gas this guy is talking about

This guy is stressed

I hope this guy doesn’t skip leg day

This guy forgot how money works

This guy needs to wake up

This guy’s tweet was kinda graphic

This guy

This guy forgot Sacramento lost the DeMarcus Cousins deal

Looks like the Balls have an uphill battle to convince Twitter to cop the Big Baller Brand’s first sneaker. Hopefully it looks good.
