(Mobile, Ala.) For the second straight week, Dillard University long jumper senior Joycelyn Daggs (SR/Thibodaux, La.) placed first in an event. Last week she finished first in the women's long jump at the Inaugural Mike McMillan Invitational in Mississippi and this week she picked up a first place finish in the women's triple jump at the University of Mobile Invitational, leaping a distance of 11.10 meters. After missing out last season, she will make her return to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' (NAIA) National Championships in May. Furthermore, the Lady Bleu Devils of Dillard University are currently ranked 14th the nation.
