[Women's Golf] UGF's Kowalchuk and LCSC Lead after First Round of Frontier Women's Golf Championship

Tempe, Ariz. - Gina Kowalchuk, University of Great Falls senior, fired an 2-over par opening round 75 and a four-shot lead over Rocky Mountain's Eryn Ellis after day one of the Frontier Conference women's golf championship being played on Arizonia State's Karston Course. Lewis-Clark State holds a commanding 13-stroke lead over second place Rocky Mountain College 334-347.

The winner and individual medalists of the Frontier Championship will earn an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship at the PGA National Course in Palm Beach Springs, Florida.
