Five-star wing Tyran Stokes set to announce today

Five-star wing Tyran Stokes will announce his college choice at around 6:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday on ESPN’s “Inside The NBA.”
Stokes’ original final list included Kansas, Oregon and Kentucky.
ESPN analyst Cory Alexander said that he believes Stokes is more offensively skilled at this stage of his career than some NBA All-Stars were during their high school days.
“I believe at this stage alone that Tyran is more offensively skilled than Scottie Barnes was at this time,” Alexander said recently on air. “I believe that he is very similar to Cade [Cunningham]…When you look at Tyran…he’s going to be a point at the highest level”
Alexander also said he doesn’t believe Stokes is in a rush to commit and could wait until after most transfer portal moves happen.
“He’s in no rush….You may want to wait [for the portal to kick in],” he said.
Stokes is the only player inside 247Sports’ Top 10 in the Class of 2026 who remains uncommitted.
