Michigan State lands 7-foot-2 Charlotte transfer center Anton Bonke

Michigan State has a new big man for the 2026-27 season.
The Spartans on Wednesday landed a commitment from 7-foot-2 Charlotte transfer center Anton Bonke, per DraftExpress.com.
He averaged 10.6 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks as a junior this past season.
A native of Port Vila, Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean, he played 16 games for Providence in the 2024-25 season, averaging minimal stats.
Tom Izzo’s squad is losing Carson Cooper and Jaxon Kohler to graduation but has four-star 7-1 freshman Ethan Taylor coming into the program as part of a four-man class ranked No. 17 nationally by 247Sports.com.
