USC lands high-scoring Colgate transfer guard Jalen Cox

USC on Wednesday landed a pledge from Colgate transfer guard Jalen Cox, who is represented by agent Daniel Green Sr. of GSE Worldwide.
The 6-foot-3 Los Angeles native averaged 17.9 points, 5.3 assists and 5.2 reobunds while shooting 52% from the field and 37% from deep.
Cox joins Georgetown transfer guard KJ Lewis and UConn transfer center Eric Reibe in coach Eric Musselman’s portal class.
The Trojans also returned senior guard Rodney Rice, while adding the nation’s No. 3 recruiting class featuring 6-8 forward Christian Collins and 6-11 twins Adonis and Darius Ratliff.
