Alabama transfer Aiden Sherrell claps back at rumored transfer portal price tag

Alabama transfer Aiden Sherrell responded to a rumored $4 million transfer portal asking price in an Instagram comment section on Friday.

In an X post from Sam Holley, Sherrell’s comment asked “What do you people get out of spreading lies?” Sherrell’s comment has since been deleted.

A 6-foot-10 forward from Detroit, Sherrell averaged 11.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in the Tide’s run to the Sweet Sixteen.

He met with Baylor head coach Scott Drew and Providence head coach Bryan Hodgson on Friday and is scheduled to meet with Duke’s coaching staff on Saturday.

Arkansas, Indiana and Michigan have also been heavily involved in Sherrell’s recruitment since he entered the transfer portal.
