San Diego State transfer Miles Byrd commits to Providence

Providence has secured a transfer out of San Diego State.
Aztecs transfer Miles Byrd will play for the Friars next season, he announced on X on Thursday.
The 6-foot-7 guard averaged 10.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for San Diego State last season.
He played all three seasons of his collegiate career for San Diego State but will now join new head coach Bryan Hodgson in a new era for Friar town.
