Kansas transfer Flory Bidunga has three main suitors at this stage
By JAMES MADDEN
Since announcing his intentions to enter the transfer portal last week, Kansas’ Flory Bidunga has quickly become one of the most highly-coveted players in the transfer portal.
Bidunga is drawing interest from three main schools at this stage of his portal process, according to On3 and ZAGSBLOG sources.
The three schools most heavily in the mix for the Kansas transfer are Duke, Michigan and St. John’s, according to sources.
Duke heavily recruited Bidunga out of high school, but he ultimately chose Kansas.
With Michigan losing Yaxel Lendeborg to graduation and the NBA Draft, plus Aday Mara’s draft status unclear, the reigning champions could be looking for a front court replacement entering next season.
Should Bidunga head to St. John’s, he’d be the second Kansas big man in recent years to depart the Jayhawks for the Johnnies, following this year’s Big East Player of the Year Zuby Ejiofor, who did the same a few years ago.
In addition to his announcement of his transfer portal entry, Bidunga will go through the NBA Draft process and decide which route he’ll take.
