INDIANAPOLIS — Michigan starting point guard Elliot Cadeau suffered an allergic reaction from “something he ate” earlier this week and was hospitalized out of an abundance of caution. Cadeau didn’t travel with the team to Indianapolis on Wednesday, but should be good to go for Saturday’s game against Arizona according to head coach Dusty May.
May said he’s grateful that Cadeau “is fine” and that he’ll be ready to go for Saturday.
“We have great medical care, and he’s back with us,” May said at the Final Four. “Dude is a warrior. He’ll be fine.”
Cadeau has averaged 10.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season for the Wolverines and is averaging 10.0 points per game in Michigan’s four NCAA Tournament games.
With Cadeau healthy again, the Wolverines will be fully healthy for Saturday’s Final Four game in Indianapolis.
