Tallest player in college basketball history enters portal

The tallest player in college basketball will enter the transfer portal, a source confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.
Florida big man Olivier Rioux will enter the portal after two seasons at Florida.
The 7-foot-9 big man is the tallest player to score a basket in college basketball history.
Rioux saw limited playing time with the Gators. In the 2024-25 season he was a redshirt while his second season saw him play just 1.5 minutes per game. A new program along with three years of eligibility remaining for his development could prove useful for the rest of Rioux’s collegiate career.
