Top-25 Class of 2026 prospect Jaxon Richardson commits to Alabama
BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZ
Alabama has secured a top-25 prospect in the Class of 2026.
Four-star prospect Jaxon Richardson will play for the Crimson Tide next season, he announced on Thursday.
He chose Alabama over USC, Ole Miss and Creighton.
“I really like Alabama for their fast pace and system,” Richardson told ZAGSBLOG.
“I want to help Alabama win at all costs,” Richardson told ESPN’s Paul Biancardi.
Richardson is the latest college commit in a family of hoopers. His father Jason Richardson had a 13 year NBA career and his older brother Jase Richardson plays for the Orlando Magic.
Now, he will join head coach Nate Oats in the SEC as he prepares for the next step in his own basketball career.
Richardson is the No. 21 prospect in the Class of 2026, according to 247Sports.
