Jalen Rose says Mick Cronin’s latest act will have a ‘domino effect’ in recruiting

UCLA head coach Mick Cronin is making headlines for ejecting his own player during a game against Michigan State.
“You’re trying to humiliate me,” Jalen Rose said on TNT. “And that’s gonna have a domino effect in his locker room and in recruiting in the future.”
Cronin took matters into his own hands after Bruins center Steven Jamerson II was whistled for a hard foul on Michigan State’s Carson Cooper.
“I guess he upgraded that to a flagrant 2, huh? That’s the first time I’ve saw a coach do that,” Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said after the game. “That sounded like Mick, he’ll get that straightened out.
What could be seen as a culture setting moment to some could also be seen as a bad look to others. A move that could, according tk Jalen Rose, have implications on Cronin’s ability to recruit players in the future.
