Indiana lands four-star forward Trevor Manhertz

Indiana has landed a commitment four-star forward Trevor Manhertz, it was announced on Wednesday. The 6-foot-8 wing from Christ School (NC) chose the Hoosiers over Duke and Louisville. Originally in the class of 2027, Manhertz is also expected to reclassify to the class of 2026 and enroll at Indiana next season.

While spending his summer playing for Garner Road on the 3SSB circuit, Manhertz became a hot-target in his class and is viewed as one of the best shooters in the country. The sharpshooter caught the attention of many high-major programs after shooting 9-of-13 from deep in a game on the circuit this summer.

He visited all three finalists this winter, but ultimately made the decision to commit to Darian DeVries and Indiana.

Manhertz is a prospect with a very high upside, due to his sheer athleticism and incredible length. With a 6-foot-11 wingspan, his ability to combine his length with a smooth and consistent shooting stroke made him an attractive target in the class of 2027.

He is Indiana’s third commit in the class of 2026. He joins four-star forward Vaughn Karvala and four-star guard Prince-Alexander Moody, to round out the Hoosiers’ current recruiting class.

Manhertz is ranked as the No. 63 overall recruit in the class of 2027, according to 247Sports, with that likely to change once he officially joins the class of 2026.
