Following a pair of convincing performances out in California, Eagle Academy-Brooklyn Class of 2028 guard Lee Robinson has earned an offer from LaSalle.

With his thorough, balanced scoring repertoire and ability to manage a game, Robinson possesses the advanced skill set to be one of the top young point guards in New York City.

Efficiency and versatility are suddenly bedrock assets of Robinson’s game.

This was much evident during a 74-73 loss to Edgewater (FL) as Robinson scored a game best 26 points (8-for-16 FG, 3-4 3FG, 7-7 FT). He doled out six assists to go with five rebounds and four steals.

Eagle-BK’s Hunter Frazier, a LeMoyne-commit, scored 25 points on 10-for-15 FG against Edgewater.Prior to this performance, Robinson erupted for 34 points on a scalding 13-for-18 from the field, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, to catapult Eagle to a 97-86 victory over Inglewood (CA).

Inglewood’s Missouri-bound and top ranked 2026 point guard Jason Crowe Jr. was a veritable scoring cyborg, turning in a wowing 56-point onslaught on 20-for-39 from the field.

LaSalle has recruited the New York City area heavily stemming back to the summer, as the program received a commitment from electrifying 6-foot-4 Class of 2027 Christ The King (NY) guard Johnny Magna during the fall.

Fields Propels Hayes: Quinnipiac-signee Malik Fields scored a game-best 30 points, thriving with his inside-outside game, to spearhead a deep Cardinal Hayes team to an 80-63 victory over Mount St. Michael Academy on Wednesday.

Fields has been a stabilizing, veteran influence for a youth-laden Hayes team which employs an 11-12 man rotation.

Quinnipiac head coach Tom Pecora and his staff have been active in recruiting the New York City and CHSAA “AA” landscape these past few years.

The Bobcats’ current roster features guard Tai Turnage, who is known for a stellar four year career at St. Raymond’s, as well as former Stepinac gunslinger Braylan Ritvo.

The 9-3 Bobcats are led by reigning MAAC Player of the Year Amarri Monroe, who is from Newburgh, NY.

Monroe, who was wooed by several high major suitors as a transfer frenzy again took place this off-season, opted to stay at Quinnipiac. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Monroe is currently averaging 15.8 points and 6.6 boards.

It was a 25-point barrage from Monroe, on a smoking 9-for-13 from the field, which helped QU to an 83-75 victory over Pittsburgh in the program’s

Wasserman Poised For Breakthrough Season: Following a promising freshman season in which he turned in multiple games of three 3-pointers or more, including a memorable four 3-pointers performance against Portledge, Class of 2028 guard Zack Wasserman is flushed into a prominent role at Columbia Prep (NY) this season.

A knockdown shooter with consistency, thw 6-foot-3 Wasserman has enhanced his all around repertoire while developing a wired to score mentality.

The weathered sophomore has now shed the label of shooter, developing an adeptness for permeating the teeth of the defense and finishing/relishing contact.

While he’s grown and improved incrementally at manufacturing points at all three levels, Wasserman has subseuqently readied himself for the rigors of a focal point role.

Picking his spots effectively and developing an adeptness of feel for the game and purity of seeing the floor, Wasserman has turned in multiple games in the high 20s and 30+ points.

As a game manager, he has capitalized on aspects such as timing and knowing his teammates’ tendencies while establishing himself as a table setter.

Wasserman has made the game a 12-month focus and a livelihood at Columbia, which has long carried a stout reputation as one of the more academically enriched schools in NYC.

Wasserman will be one to keep tabs on as a local stock riser in the 2028 class. He has refined all elements of his game while emerging into more a gritty, confrontational defender.
