UConn announces signings of Junior County and Colben Landrew

UConn has announced the signing of two Top-50 prospects in the Class of 2026.
6-foot-5 combo guard Junior County and 6-foot-6 wing Colben Landrew will play for the Huskies in 2026 and look to make an immediate impact for a program with constant championship expectations.
“We see an opportunity for these guys to work and earn their way into impact positions as freshman,” UConn head coach Dan Hurley said. “I think these guys are going to be on the court, they’re going to be helping us win really, really early in their career.”
County is the No. 28 ranked prospect in the Class of 2026 according to 247Sports. He averaged 13.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game for the Utah Prospects in the Nike EYBL Circuit.
Landrew is the No. 20 prospect in the Class of 2026 according to 247Sports. He averaged 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for Game Elite in the Adidas 3SSB Circuit.
