Kansas signs all four commits in No. 1 recruiting class
All four of Kansas’ commits signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, rounding out what is currently the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation, according to 247Sports.
The Jayhawks are set to bring in Taylen Kinney, Davion Adkins, Trent Perry and Luke Barnett. The Jayhawks have also been heavily involved with five-star Tyran Stokes and four-star Ethan Taylor, who is set to announce his commitment on Friday.
Kinney is a 6-foot-3 guard from Newport, Ky. and a member of the Overtime Elite program. He is ranked as the No. 1 point guard in the nation and the No. 13 overall recruit.
Adkins – a 6-foot-9 forward from Prolific Prep (FL), attends the same high school that Kansas star Darryn Peterson once attended and is a four-star recruit. He is ranked as the No. 33 overall prospect in the class of 2026.
Perry – a 6-foot-5 four-star, attends Link Academy (MO) and is current high school teammates with Ethan Taylor, who is from the Kansas City area and has been heavily recruited by Kansas. He is ranked as the No. 119 overall recruit in the class of 2026.
Barnett is a 6-foot-4 shooting guard and is considered one of the best shooters in the country. A senior at Mater Dei HS (CA) – he saw his stock skyrocket over the summer during his time with the Arizona Unity on the Nike EYBL circuit. Barnett is a top-150 recruit and top-20 in the state of California.
The Jayhawks currently possess the No. 1 recruiting class for the class of 2026, according to 247Sports and remain in-contact with multiple top-100 recruits.
