Another G League player is headed to college.
G League center Abdullah Ahmed will suit up for BYU as a part of its 2026 recruiting class, he announced on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-10 big man chose the Cougars over Houston. At 22-years-old, Ahmed has played the last two seasons with the Westchester Knicks.
Last season, he averaged 4.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in 18 minutes per game. He is expected to have between two and three seasons of college eligibility.
Ahmed will join head coach Kevin Young‘s 2026 class alongside four-star prospects Dean Rueckert and KJ Perry.
