No. 1 Class of 2026 basketball prospect participates in his first football practice

The top basketball prospect in the 2026 recruiting class is trying his hand at another sport.
Five-star prospect Tyran Stokes participated in his first football practice for Notre Dame Sherman Oaks on Monday, sources confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.
The 6-foot-7 forward plans on taking the football field as a wide receiver in what will likely be his first and final season as a football player.
Stokes has to practice at least ten times in pads to become eligible to play football, per California’s regulations.
Given the prospects build and frame he will certainly standout as a unique player on the field at 6-foot-7, 230 pounds.
As for his basketball career, Stokes remains uncommitted at the next level. He has completed official visits to Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas and USC.
