Four-star point guard Ryan Moesch commits to Siena
By ADAM ZAGORIA
Ryan Moesch, the four-star point guard from Cushing Academy (MA) and the Middlesex Magic AAU program, has committed to Siena and head coach Gerry McNamara, he told ZAGSBLOG ahead of his public announcement Monday.
The 6-foot, 170-pound guard originally from upstate New York chose Siena over Providence.
“I will be going to Siena,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “I will bring leadership and a unique style of play and I will run the team.”
During his commitment on 247Sports, he added: “The coaching staff really showed love for me and I really trust the vision that G-Mac [Gerry McNamara] has for me.
Congrats to Magic and Cushing 2026 Ryan Moesch on his commitment to Siena! Ryan is one of the most explosive athletes and skilled point guards in program history! He led our team to a top 15 national ranking, and he will be an immediate impact for the Saints! #MagicFamily pic.twitter.com/JjKbiDWtk7

Mike Crotty of the MIddlesex Magic said of Moesch:
“He’s one of the best point guards I’ve ever had the chance to coach. He’s remarkably explosive, quick, fast-twitchy athlete. With the ball in his hands, you can score at any moment, whether it’s him making an elite pass or breaking a defender down and getting to the rim and finishing with a dunk or hit a deadly step-back 3. He’s just an electric player.
“He’s real fun and special to watch. I think as he gets stronger and gets more and more reps at a high level, his upside is to be a really special player at the highest Division 1 level.”
