Kon Knueppel, Sion James Sign NBA Contracts With The Charlotte Hornets
On to summer league play!
Looks like the Charlotte Hornets and Kon Knueppel have come to terms and Knueppel has now signed his rookie contract.
His deal should be worth about $45.49 million, which could buy a lot of Wisconsin cheese curds.
The Hornets also signed Sion James, but we haven't seen what kind of a deal he got. As a second round signee, it won’t be nearly as lucrative.
However, that’s not always the case. Tyrese Proctor, the last Blue Devil to be drafted, signed a four-year deal for $8,685,387. As a later pick, it really depends on what your team sees in you because they aren’t bound by the rookie contract scale after the first round.
We haven’t seen anything yet about Khaman Maluach’s contract, but if he hasn’t signed, it won’t be long.
