Bethany Peters Is Running Again, And She Has A Cool Auction For Duke Fans!
This is pretty cool and you’ll be supporting a worthy cause
In 2019, I ran the Chicago Marathon with four knee surgeries behind me. Since then, I’ve added a fifth — a total knee replacement just two years ago. I finished Berlin. I fell short in Tokyo, missing the finish line by just three miles. On October 12, I’ll return to the streets of Chicago to prove I can finish again — and improve my best time by over 30 minutes.
I’m running to help end the global water crisis — because access to clean water shouldn’t depend on where you’re born. Over 700 million people still live without it. That’s not just a crisis — it’s a justice issue. And World Vision is doing something about it.
After just 6 years, I’m now just $17,000 away from hitting a huge milestone: $200,000 raised over my lifetime as a World Vision runner to bring clean, lasting water to communities in need. My goal is to reach it by race day. With your help, I know we can.
All proceeds go directly to clean water initiatives. Let’s make an impact — and maybe win something legendary!
Let’s do this together!
Thanks,
Bethany
