St. John’s, Auburn, Houston set to headline 2025 Players Era Festival

All eyes are on Las Vegas after the schedule for one of the most high-profile events of the 2025-26 college basketball season has been revealed, per CBS.

The 2025 Players Era schedule has been l̶e̶a̶k̶e̶d̶ set. Marketed as "November Mania," it will feature 18 mean's teams and four women's programs. Schools will handle payouts differently.

The Players Era Festival, set to be played in Las Vegas, will feature some of the biggest teams in college basketball in its second annual showcase.

The event will feature 18 teams, all of which will receive $1 million in NIL compensation for participating. Each team will play three games, with the winner receiving an additional $1 million.

The schedule for this event was leaked by the University of Michigan on Monday, revealing the matchups for this event. Some of the more notable matchups taking place in Las Vegas are as follows:

The event will begin on Nov. 24 and end on Nov. 26. The other teams expected to participate in this event are St. John’s, Iowa State, Oregon, Auburn, Alabama, Gonzaga, Houston, Tennessee, Creighton, Notre Dame, Rutgers, San Diego State, Maryland, Baylor, Kansas, Michigan, Syracuse and UNLV.

No. 22 Tennessee vs. Rutgers, 1 p.m.
Baylor vs. Creighton, 2 p.m. 
No. 18 Kansas vs. Notre Dame, 3:30 p.m. 
No. 1 St. John’s vs. No. 13 Iowa State, 4:30 p.m. 
No. 2 Houston vs. Syracuse, 6 p.m. 
No. 17 Oregon vs. No. 19 Auburn, 8 p.m. 
No. 14 Alabama vs. No. 21 Gonzaga, 9:30 p.m.
