Brotherhood Draft Watch: Kyrie Irving Stoked About Future Teammate Cooper Flagg
Dallas is trending towards Lone Star Duke status
There’s a nice story out of Dallas where we find Duke legend Kyrie Irving (most of his legend came after Duke, but he’s still a legend) talking about welcoming Cooper Flagg to Dallas:
“We definitely are connected. He’s a Duke Blue Devil and I know he can deal with the pressure and I’m looking forward to seeing a great season, not only from him but a lot of the other young players that are here nationally and also internationally.”
Irving is still rehabbing from his knee injury but between him and Dereck Lively, Flagg should have a Blue Devil home away from home in Big D.
And while there’s not really any suspense about what Dallas is going to do with the #1 pick, Flagg is happy about his future in Dallas and isn’t going to schedule any other workouts. Why bother? He knows exactly where he’s going.
