Jayson Tatum Injury Update: A Ruptured Achilles
Awful news for one of the good guys.
Terrible news for Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics as the former Duke star suffered a ruptured right Achilles tendon in Monday night’s loss to the New York Knickerbockers.
That is obviously a very serious injury but the good news is that Tatum has already shown tremendous resilience and character and that will all come in handy as he begins to rehabilitate. No one’s going to outwork that guy in rehab.
There’s a lot more to be said about this and we’ll get to that presently. For now, what a terrible break for one of the truly good guys in basketball. Godspeed.
