Isaiah Evans Makes His NBA Draft Decision
Great news for Evans and the Blue Devils
Great news for Duke Basketball as Isaiah Evans has withdrawn from the draft, which was a smart decision.
Evans is immensely promising but he’s still too thin and weak to compete on a regular basis at the next level.
Another year of work and weights will help him immensely and he’s made it clear that he’s not scared of hard work, so he should benefit as much as Duke will - and Duke will benefit greatly.
Evans really just scratched the surface of his potential last season as a freshman. He’s an absolute flame thrower and with a bit of refinement, he’s a lock for a first round pick, and possibly a lottery pick at that.
Good news all the way round.
