Duke Recruiting: Kara Lawson Strikes Again
And nabs a highly promising guard
A few days ago, Kara Lawson got a commitment from 4-star center Taylor Sofilkanich for Duke’s class of 2026.
Then on Sunday, another 2026 recruit picked the Blue Devils: Sanai Green, a 6-0 point guard of Long Island Lutheran.
A five-star recruit, Green was also considering UNC, USC, Purdue and others.
In other words, she looks like a major addition to the program.
Given the nature of the game now, with the relaxed transfer rules and the transfer portal, it’s impossible to predict what Duke’s 2026 roster will look like. However, having talented players like Green and Sofilkanich bodes well for the future.
