Buddy Hield wears ‘Excluding Buddy’ t-shirt on the plane to Houston

Jimmy Butler III has jokes, and Buddy Hield can take them

Buddy Hield and Jimmy Butler III have been teasing each other in postgame interviews and on social media since Butler III joined the Warriors in February.

Last week, Butler III posted a photo of the Curry logo as Batman’s bat signal on his Instagram, and captioned it “thanks batman and team. excluding buddy.”

As the Warriors return to Houston for game five, Buddy Hield showed up to the team plane wearing an exquisite choice of attire — a t-shirt reading “excluding Buddy.”

Hield put up an impressive 17-point performance in game four versus the Houston Rockets. Butler, reluctant to praise his teammate, said “I hate to give Buddy a compliment, so I’m not going to. He stinks.”

Luckily, there’s no real beef, and it looks to be all jokes between the two veterans.

Tonight, the Warriors and the Rockets face off again for game five. Hopefully, the whole team pulls through for a win — including Buddy.
