UCF guard Mikey Williams commits to Sacramento State
BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZ
Former four-star recruit Mikey Williams has committed to Sacramento State after playing in 18 games for UCF, per ESPN.
The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 5 points and 2 rebounds for the Knights.
This move comes just one day after the program hired NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal as the team’s general manager.
During his high school days, Williams was ranked as a top-15 player at his position and a top-15 overall player in the state of California.
Williams originally committed to Memphis out of high school, but following some legal troubles the guard decided to transfer to UCF and is now looking for another opportunity to be the player many saw during his high school days.
