Wake Forest lands 2025 prospect Jaylen Cross
BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZ
Wake Forest has landed a high-flying prospect in the 2025 recruiting class.
Caldwell Academy guard Jaylen Cross will play for the Demon Deacons next season, he announced via X on Wednesday.
Cross was originally committed to play for Charlotte, but chose to decommit on April 16th. Instead, he will play under head coach Steve Forbes as Wake Forest looks to make noise in one of college basketball’s premier conferences.
The Demon Deacons went 13-7 in conference play this season but did not advance to the Big Dance.
Cross will join four-star prospect Isaac Carr as a member of Wake Forest’s 2025 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4 guard out of North Carolina will be looking to turn heads with his positional size and explosive athleticism.
