UConn will likely be losing a top-20 recruit in the 2025 class.
Top-20 recruit Darius Adams has requested a release from UConn after initially committing to the program and plans to reopen his recruitment, sources confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.
The McDonald’s All-American was part of a recruiting class headlined by five-star prospect Braylon Mullins for UConn, but will now look elsewhere.
The New Jersey native had taken official visits to Tennessee and Michigan State during his initial recruitment phase.
UConn’s recruiting class outside of Mullins now consists of four-star center Eric Reibe and three-star forward Jacob Furphy.
Adams now stands as the highest-ranked guard still available in the class of 2025.
