YouTube Gold: Karl Malone Discusses His Dream Team Teammates

In this episode of the Dan Patrick Show, Patrick interviews NBA great Karl Malone and asks him about his experience with the Dream Team.

The first question which is a great one, is who the most competitive guys on the team were. Malone goes with Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan because, he says, they would never put them on the same team.

Then he asks him if he were starting a team from the Dream Team, who would he pick?

Malone gives him a little grief before saying he would start with John Stockton, who was his Utah teammate for so many years, but Patrick asked him to leave Stockton out of it.

Malone then goes with Scottie Pippen first, much to Patrick’s shock and amazement.

For his second pick, he goes with Magic Johnson, at which point Patrick says that he just wants shots.
