Xavier transfer Dailyn Swain commits to Texas
BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZ
The Longhorns have landed a transfer out of the program that sent them home during the NCAA Tournament.
Xavier transfer Dailyn Swain committed to Texas on Tuesday, following Sean Miller, who coached Swain at Xavier this season before leaving for Texas.
The 6-foot-8 guard averaged 11 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in his sophomore season.
Texas was near the bottom of the SEC this season with a 6-12 conference record, which led to the firing of Rodney Terry. They are hoping to turn it around with a new coaching staff next season.
