College Basketball Star's Mom Turns Heads During NCAA Tournament
Over the weekend the UConn Huskies saw their bid for a third straight national title come to an end with a 77-75 loss to the Florida Gators.
"There's some honor, I guess, in the way that this went down," head coach Dan Hurley said after the game while referencing two clutch shots from Florida's Walter Clayton Jr. "It's a tough loss. We played in a manner that gave us a real chance to win. Credit Clayton. He made some NBA-level 3s off the dribble to beat us. It took that for somebody to put us down in this tournament after winning obviously a bunch in a row."
The Huskies were led by big man Liam McNeeley, who recorded 22 points, two rebounds and three assists during the contest. While the Huskies star put together a solid performance, it was his mother who ended up stealing the show.
CBS' cameras couldn't stop showing his mother during the loss on Sunday.

Fans flocked to social media to react to CBS showing McNeeley's mom on a number of occasions during the game.
"The infatuation by CBS with Liam McNeeley’s mom is far too over the top," one person said.
"Cameraman finding Liam McNeeley's mom in the stands," said another.
"CBS cameraman is a huge fan of Liam McNeeley's mom, she's gotten more airtime than the Gators cheerleaders and the Florida coach," offered a third.
"Did anyone ask to see Liam McNeeley’s mom every thirty seconds?" asked another.
In the end, McNeeley and the Huskies saw their season come to a close.
