Class of 2025 forward Ashton Magee commits to Kansas State
By SAM LANCE
Ashton Magee, a class of 2025 small forward, has committed to Kansas State, per his Instagram page.
Magee — the 6-foot-7, 205-pound forward from South Jones (MS) — committed to the Wildcats after taking an official visit on March 1. Some of his other offers included Georgia State, New Mexico State, Ole Miss and USF.
“On top of Kansas State being a great program, I had great conversations with Coach Tang,” Magee said to 247Sports of his decision. “Everything I heard was pretty great, honestly. They were genuine and explained how at Kansas State, everything is earned and not given. So, you have to work for things that you want. Coach Tang also has a history of ministry, so that was big for me as well. I like how he uses the space.”
Magee had a very impactful senior season at South Jones. He is the first 2025 commit for Jerome Tang and company.
