Stray Basketball Smacks Into Jennifer Hudson Courtside at Knicks Game

0 6

Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson unwittingly became the New York Knicks sixth player while sitting courtside recently.

The singer was nailed by a stray basketball while attending the Knicks game at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 6. Her partner—Grammy winner Common—attempted to save the day, but he wasn’t quick enough.

The musical couple was taking in the Knicks against the Golden State Warriors and got very involved in the action.

Common went for the save, but the ball ended up striking Hudson in the face as Miles McBride went for a steal.

McBride’s momentum took him into the crowd but Hudson shook off all the action.

The Knicks lost to the Warriors 114–102, with Steph Curry exploding for 28 points.

Thankfully Hudson escaped without serious injury.

The Jennifer Hudson Show airs nationwide on Fox stations daily.
