How to watch Warriors vs. Jazz
Golden State basketball is on the way! Come join our game thread and chat about tonight’s matchup here.
The Golden State Warriors begin their six-game road trip prior to the NBA All-Star Break with Wednesday night’s matchup against the Utah Jazz. The game will be played at 6:00 PM PT in Salt Lake City and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
The Warriors wrapped up their six-game homestand with a gritty 104-99 win over the Orlando Magic. It was a tale of two halves as Golden State stumbled through one of its worst first halves of the season before exploding for a 39-point third quarter.
However, even with that surge, the game came down to the wire. Kevon Looney and Draymond Green delivered key buckets in crunch time, but it was Moses Moody’s clutch three-pointer with just over a minute remaining that sealed the victory.

What to watch for tonight:
After spending nearly two weeks at home, Golden State now embarks on a grueling stretch where eight of their next 10 games will be on the road, starting with tonight’s matchup in Utah.
The Warriors handled the Jazz 114-103 last Tuesday at the Chase Center in a game that, just like tonight’s, came on the front end of a back-to-back. Multiple players on both teams were sidelined for that game, but despite the absences, the Warriors still came out on top as Dennis Schröder (23 points) and Brandin Podziemski (20 points) stepped up to secure the win.
This time, the Warriors should be close to full strength, but the Jazz remain in rough shape, potentially missing both of their top scorers Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton due to injury.
Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins are both probable tomorrow at Jazz on front side of road back-to-back. Steph Curry not listed on injury report. Moses Moody questionable. Warriors at Lakers on Thursday night. Trade deadline between games.

Sitting at 11-37, Utah owns the worst record in the Western Conference and ranks 28th in the NBA in net rating. Their defense has been a major liability, allowing 118.4 points per game (fourth-most in the NBA).
A big reason for this is that the Jazz give up a league-high 40.2 three-point attempts per game. This defensive weakness plays right into Golden State’s strengths as they rank third in three-point attempts (42.2 per game) and should look to exploit the Jazz from deep.
A strong performance tonight would set the tone for this road trip, especially before tomorrow’s marquee showdown against their southern California rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers.
