Siena basketball helps regional food drive

LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Siena men's and women's basketball programs are hosting food drives in partnership with Northeastern New York Regional Food Bank.
Fans are being encouraged to donate five canned goods during the matchups against the newest members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at 7 p.m. on Thursday and at 2 p.m. on Saturday at MVP Arena.
"Just as we saw the sports teams coming down today and volunteering time and effort, that relationship just means so much," Food Bank COO Nick Pisani said.
In return for their donations, fans will receive a voucher for $5 off a future Siena men's or women's regular season game this year.
