Golden State basketball is on the way! Come join our game thread and chat about tonight’s matchup here.

The Golden State Warriors wrap up the second half of a home back-to-back with Sunday night’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Previously with the Warriors:

The Golden State Warriors remain undefeated in the 2025 calendar year after beating the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night, 121-113. With Stephen Curry sitting out the first game of the back-to-back, the Warriors turned to Andrew Wiggins to lead the charge. After a quiet first half with just two points, Wiggins exploded in the second, finishing with 24 points on the night. Head coach Steve Kerr credits the big night to a physical shove from Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane which appeared to ignite Wiggins, sparking his dominant performance.

What to watch for tonight:

Curry is set to return for tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings, but the Warriors will be without Jonathan Kuminga. The fourth-year forward suffered what Kerr described as a “significant” ankle sprain during Saturday’s game against Memphis.

Meanwhile, the Kings will also be shorthanded as All-Star point guard De’Aaron Fox sits out with a glute contusion after a hard fall in their own game against the Grizzlies on Friday.

Kuminga’s absence is a major blow for the Warriors. He was truly beginning to hit his stride as a key secondary scorer alongside Curry in recent games. In his place, veteran forward Kyle Anderson is expected to step up. Anderson logged 22 minutes against Memphis, showcasing his versatility with seven points, three rebounds, three assists, a steal, and two blocks. His steady play and defensive presence should make him a dependable option to fill the void left by Kuminga.
