The Golden State Warriors take on the Memphis Grizzlies for another home matchup on Saturday night. The game will be played at 5:30PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
The Golden State Warriors rang in the new year in style by beating the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night with a commanding 139-105 victory. Stephen Curry delivered a spectacular performance, shooting a flawless 8-of-8 from beyond the arc while racking up 30 points. This marked the most three-pointers Curry has ever made in a game without a miss, showcasing why he still remains one of the best players in the league.

What to watch for tonight:
Despite Thursday’s heroics, Curry will sit out tonight’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies as part of Golden State’s plan to rest him during one game of any back-to-back this season. Joining Curry on the sidelines are Gary Payton II and rookie Brandin Podziemski, who were also ruled out for Saturday’s game.
Steph Curry will sit tomorrow against Memphis in the first night of a back-to-back at home. Injury management. The season-long trend suggests he’ll play Sunday vs Sacramento.

Gary Payton II (calf strain) and Brandin Podziemski (abdominal tightness) remain out.
The Grizzlies, meanwhile, will be without their own star point guard, Ja Morant, who remains sidelined with a shoulder injury.

With the two star point guards out for tonight’s game, both teams will have to look elsewhere to generate offense. For Golden State, that means leaning on Jonathan Kuminga. The fourth-year forward has been in excellent form recently, averaging 20.8 points in his last 10 games. He’s the team’s second-leading scorer this season, and against Memphis’ stingy defense which ranks fifth in the league in defensive rating, Kuminga will need to step up as a primary offensive weapon to keep the Warriors competitive.
