It looks like the Warriors will not be without Steph Curry for long.

The Golden State Warriors did their best to stay undefeated without Steph Curry this week, but were stretched to thin in a 105-101 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, it seems like Golden State will not be without their best player for long. After missing just one game with a knee injury and an MRI testing negative, Curry returned to practice on Friday and was a “full participant,” according to head coach Steve Kerr. It sure seems like Curry will return to game action in Saturday’s game against the Suns.

It’s no secret that everything the Warriors hope to do this season is predicated on having a healthy Curry on the floor this season. In 14 games so far, Curry is averaging 22.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.6 steals in just under 30 minutes per game.

The Western Conference standings remain incredibly condensed. The Warriors are sitting at 12-6 on the season, the Warriors currently have the third-best seed in the Western Conference and are just a game behind the Houston Rockets for the second spot and another game behind the Thunder for the top spot. However, they are also only 3.5 games ahead of the 11th seed Sacramento Kings. Needless to say, a healthy Steph Curry would go a long way toward helping the Warriors make their life easier late in the season as they volley for playoff positioning.
